We support education.
The No Lunch Education Initiative was founded in 2018 by Katrina Keating, Tadashi Tsuchida, and katch keating. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit with the mission of helping educate people in developing countries and keep them healthy. Its mission emphasizes the education of girls and continuing education for women. |

My was the first in her family to get past sixth grade. She finished top of her class for both her bachelor's degrees -- at two universities simultaneously! In 2018, My completed her Master's from the Swedish Institute on a full scholarship.

Gom was the only Black H'mong girl in her village who could attend junior high. We sponsored her through junior high and high school, and a computer training program. She now has her own shop in Sapa, and is married with three children.

We support higher education in remote areas so that children can stay with their families. Without this help, the children of Galem would need to walk two hours each way to attend high school.
The devastating earthquake of 2014 destroyed scores of schools in the mountains. We worked with Karma Flights to deliver school supplies and warm clothing to the remote areas of Pokhara in 2015 and 2016.

Aasha and Nisha want to work in the health care field to help the people of Nepal who do not have access to doctors. They were both awarded the inaugural No Lunch Education Initiative scholarship, which covers all expenses towards a bachelor's degree. Their focus will be nursing. Congrats!
In 2016 we worked with Empower Generation to provide sales and marketing training for 25 young women. They were given an opportunity to run their own business selling solar lights in their community.
